The Secret Garden - Closing Night

The DCC Middle School production of The Secret Garden ran only three days, four shows. So tonight was the closing show. Bravo! to Antonio (the kid formerly known as AJ). See yesterday's post for a few more pics.

The Secret Garden

AJ is playing Dickon in the DCC Middle School production of "The Secret Garden"! The run is short, November 11-13, 2021. Here's what some of that looked like. Also, see tomorrow's post for a few closing night photos.

A Farewell Dinner, etc.

We had a farewell dinner Sunday evening for a couple of couples from Lynn's book club. One couple is off to points east.

Spend most of your time on the dip (center bowl)!

Spaghetti Carbonara, Cesar Salad, and Carrot Cake.
And yummy wine, including a
Rodney Strong Rockaway we'd never tasted before!

In the yard a couple doors down.

They alert, but are generally too lazy to move.

On the way to pick up Lexi from tennis.

Really good squash lasagna despite the burnt top.

End of the Week

End-of-the-week happenings in the dining room and kitchens.

A Jonnie creation. Woof, woof.

Back to Monday

It was a rough weekend with the tragedy at the Kreb's household and all. This Monday it was a little harder than normal "to get back in the groove."

Stress Sand. Everyone played with it.

Lunch at Mt Fuji, drunken noodles!

The high schoolers worked on the mini table
and chairs for the foster kids.

That was very nice!
