Peter and the Starcatcher
The show closed this evening. Antonio played Boy (Peter) in one arrangement of the cast and had an ensemble role in the other. Matteo did Follow Spot for all shows. This was a production of the DCC High School Theatre Department.

Snow Buddies
Children's Hospital Colorado lets volunteers build snowmen for their patients who can't get out in the snow themselves. The patient draws a snowman and the picture is sent to the volunteer(s) to actually build the snowman, take a picture of it and the builders, and send the picture back to the patient. A couple weeks after applying, we got our patient's drawing. Last night's snow was the first we've had since receiving the picture, but in the morning the snow turned out to be way too powdery to make a snowman. Lexi and Papa were quite disappointed. That is, until the sun had a chance to work on it. By early afternoon, the snow was packable and Lexi said "let's give it another go!" Coincidentally, Lexi's Mom, Tracy, is a NICU Nurse at Children's here in Colorado Springs.

Frosted with Ice
It was a rare night of high humidity and freezing temperatures that coated everything all-way-round with nearly clear ice.

Doolies (at Hotel Polaris)
Papa couldn't wait much longer to get back to Hotel Polaris to try Doolies, the restaurant opposite Pamela's which we tried Sunday. Doolies did not disappoint. Read about both restaurants here. Fun decor, fun food, and very fun drinks both cocktail-wise and milkshake-wise. They use Josh and John's Ice Cream!

First Peak at Hotel Polaris
Nana and Papa dropped by the Hotel Polaris this afternoon for a little look-see. It's brand new and just down the hill from us on the southwest corner of I-25 and Northgate Boulevard. We were impressed. And we had a very nice brunch at Pamela's.
