New Year's Eve

We eased into New Year's Eve, but it got pretty exciting as the day progressed culminating with a group going to see Mean Girls at the Denver theater, Papa going to Springs Ensemble Theater for a show and a party, pizza for the kids' dinner, and everyone getting back to the house by midnight to have our Compound festivities complete with fireworks huge and tiny.

The Week Between

We had a great week between... Calm, relatively quiet (that is, not many have-toos outside the house).

Lynn built her Vespa! Vroom vroom...

Lots of Legos!

About 5" of snow.

First run on Matteo's 3-D printer. Came as a kit.

Lovin' the white board this week...

Christmas Day

Christmas Day 2022. We also had some visitors throughout the day (not pictured): more of the Kreb family and some co-workers of Tracy's from the NICU. All the photos are here.

Christmas Eve

All afternoon was dedicated to the TimberCreek services. Nana, Tracy, and Fina did coffee, Papa did security, and Matt wrangled the rest. We did all manage to attend the 2nd service except Nana who succumbed to a very nasty cold mid-way through the afternoon (and Christmas Day as it turned out). Four of us (Papa, Tracy, Fina, and Ethan) attended the 11pm Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at First UMC downtown. Full-blown traditional. And we sang several carols from the hymnal in 4-part harmony (most of the time). The message was "We Need the Light."

This sign became part of the fun this year!

Christmas Adam

Nana was lookin' particularly fine this morning so had to pose with a few of the kids. Then she and Papa were off on their own little private Christmas Adam day with stops at Poor Richard's Toys and Restaurant downtown, then over to Manitou to check out The Vault then to Luisa Graff's for the piece de resistance. Then to dinner at Ambli Global Cuisine. Then, as if that wasn't enough, everyone met up at the first of several Christmas light displays around town. The tour was drawn up by our landscaper, Timberline, for the benefit of anyone. The day closed with a stop at Fiz on the way home!
