Sunday Funday

At the Gibs.

Bye Bye Birdie

"At last the run has come; the run has come at last," with apologies to Mae. Today's show marks the end of the first weekend of the run! What?! Upon turning the show over to the SLO Little Theatre after the final dress rehearsal, our director Heidi told us to "make every moment of every show count, it'll be over before you know it." She was right. And every moment has been worth remembering. Thanks to Danielle Dutro McNamara Photography for photo-documenting our show (her photos are noted below). And then there are a few selfies, from backstage, where there's another whole show going on... And did I mention cotton candy grapes?!...

The photos get more recent as you scroll down, including shots from closing day.

Lexi Turns One !

So it's party time!

All the pics are here.

Memorial Day Tradition

Breakfast at McClintock's was a significant tradition at the Compound when Robob was here. It was practically mandatory for Memorial Day weekend when he would put on his paratrooper shirt and proudly wear it to breakfast. Not that he would talk much about his experiences, but you could readily tell that his war experience left indelible marks. So, today, we remember. Lots of things.

511th Parachute Infantry Regiment.

Today at McClintock's, a Bloody Maria
for Robob and for all who serve.
