Easter

We all attended (not worked) church this morning; took up most of an entire row! Then back to the house for the big hunt. Brahm did a masterful job of hiding the eggs. It was more like artistically placing the eggs. All the photos are here.

Bulldog Donuts ?!

Jonny wanted donuts for breakfast, so what else could we do... Horseshoe Donuts in Monument had quite a surprise for us... bulldog donuts. We met the actual dog there as well! The donuts were all gone (for the most part) by evening. Their donuts are a bit on the expensive side, but well worth it. Big and delicious!

Passover Seder

We originally had our Seder planned for the correct day, April 5th, but a last-minute, mandatory meeting for graduating seniors messed it up. So, we moved it to Friday the 7th. Brisket, Kugel Potatoes, etc. for dinner. And plenty of matzot - mainly for AJ.

A Real Snow!

We had some whispy snow in temperatures well below freezing the previous two days, but wham, this morning we awoke to 4 or 5 inches! Good snowman and snowball snow, too. 2-hour school delay. Never fear. The roads will be clear and dry by the end of the day and we'll be in the 60s by Easter.

Dart Wars and Other Games

Below are pics from two more trips to Dart Wars since the twins' birthday. We discovered their special price for families: two 2-hour sessions for everyone in the family (same address)! There was also some puzzling and some chess.

Seamus was up in the control booth.

The Family Dinner dessert this week.
The topic was Q&A on Passover/Exodus.

Another day... A different group of Reguscis.

There were close to 100 people in the arena!

In the current stage of learning, Papa
and AJ are 1-1.

Pushed Through to Home

Nana and Papa left Kansas City a little after 8am and were home in Colorado Springs just before dinner time. The 8.5-hour prediction by Maps was practically dead on. Our only significant stop was at Roosters in Calhan, CO (where Jamie's railroad group is renovating a railroad depot). Very good burger, BLT, and fries.

Our last day in St. Louis... We enjoyed the Fiddleneck Fern Cafe and the Butterfly House with Megan before heading back to Kansas City where we had a great dinner with David and Wendy at the Tavern at Mission Farms followed by some game playing at Siscos: Sagrada, and Hues and Cues. The day's photos start here.

Breakfast at the FiddleNeck Fern Cafe.

Had never heard of Squill. There they are.
