Day 42

We welcome our newest graduate to the clan! Private Samuel Regusci graduated this morning from basic training and M1A1 tank school as part of Fort Benning's Bulldog Company 19K Class 20-001. We "attended" via Facebook live. Lots of online school work. Some very interesting side projects and activities (see the pics). Lynn and Jamie did an online audition for Voices Beyond the Veil being produced by Village Arts. It'll be done by actors in their own homes filming the scenes (no more than 2 to a scene) and then put all together into a video. Good thing to keep on auditioning (never did hear back from Agamemnon). Pizza and lasagna from Walters.

Day 41

Earth Day! David and Jonny drew a picture for the occasion. Lexi got into the banana bread business. Everyone got their school work done for the day. And the littles enjoyed the teacher reading them a story of the wide-mouthed frog online. Fina opened up a hair salon. Dinner from the Club tonight!

Another round of Zelda Monopoly.
Don't ever let AJ get the row of reds and yellows.

Day 40

Aren't many Biblical events 40 days long? I think we've reached Biblical proportions. Back to school work today (teacher's have a work day on Mondays and school for the kids is Tuesday-Friday). Nana made some deviled eggs! Our school district just announced we're done for the year. It'll be tele-learning through May. Got kinda physical in the family room this afternoon.

The old kitchen table makes a nice game table downstairs.

Day 39

Tracy had a couple online medical appointments today, one for Matteo and one with a neurologist. Another pond trip today, and this one included a third pond. The ponding folks stopped at Chick-Fil-A on the way home. There was quite a line of cars there. Jamie and Lynn closed the day with a Zoom birthday party. Loved Codename and Just One, the two games we played with hundreds of miles of social distancing.

Lexi made this for the birthday party.

Fina made Challah bread. Really good.

Trees are starting to leaf out.

Lots of spiders running around on the pond bank.

Day 38

It was a relatively quiet day today. The kids snuck in a little outdoor play, but the weather threatened rain. The rest of the week is supposed to be fairly warm, even into the 60s. Breakfast was a mixture of Wendy's and Starbucks. We attended church online as usual. Matt grilled up some chicken legs for dinner. Lots of reading. Jamie got a couple hundred database records de-duped for IndyGive. Fina's high school church buds got together via Zoom. Tonight's TV viewing: Schitt$ Creek.

You should see what AJ can do on this contraption!

Fair amount of electronics today.
