Day 46

It was the best of times. It was the worst of times. It felt normally abnormal, or abnormally normal, or... Nothing noteworthy happened today. Well, maybe some things... The definition of noteworthy changes under certain circumstances. We got re-potting stuff for the SITW tomato plants. We cooked meals, primarily fajitas for dinner. Tracy finished a puzzle and packed it away for return to the friend who swapped puzzles with us. Tracy, Lynn, and Fina worked much of the day on preparing May packets for TimberCreek Church Kids. They'll be delivering to nearly 60 families. One of the items in the package will be homemade slime; oh boy! Mask production continues. Lots of game playing by the kids of recently acquired stuff (Easter). At least that's what we think they're doing. Oh, and we continued watering the lawn now and then. Tonight's TV was Community.

Belated Easter gift!

Lexi loves these things, so Fina got her some more.

Homemade slime.

Day 45

AJ's birthday celebration continued after "going to" church this morning. Pinata! All the pinata photos start here. What a hoot, lots of smiling faces. Matt's breakfast burritos got us going for the day. Jamie and Lynn took a walk around the neighborhood with Sandy. We also tried to Zoom with Vickie and friends for a virtual game night, but had issues connecting with the meeting. Fina was super bored today; look what she did to her parents' room. Dinner was prime rib from the Club. Tonight's movie: Son-in-Law.

Fina gift wrapped everything in sight! Hard to watch TV that way.
Or enjoy a photo on the wall. Or set the alarm clock.
Oh wait, who needs an alarm clock?

Day 44

We celebrated AJ's birthday today! All the party pics of that are here. Domino's Pizza for dinner, AJ's fave. Jamie got the new ceiling lights installed for the game table downstairs. Matt did a lot of yard watering. Tonight's movies were Get Him to the Greek and Extraction.

Finally Tracy gets a chance to wear outside the hat her friend gave her.

Day 43

Not unlike the first 42 days. We did stuff. Here are some pics. There was a little bit of shopping for an upcoming birthday and a trip to Hope and Home for the littles to spend some Zoondoogles! Fina (and family) jumped back into mask production for TimberCreek Church. Dinner from the Club was the pork ribs family-style offering, very good. We ordered too much, but that's OK, lunch tomorrow! We finished Schitt$ Creek this evening.

A Lexi project

We call this the Poop-a-Roo. Can you guess why?

Having the humans around all day, and the puppies, is exhausting!

Some of the SITW folks wanted to know how we
got our tomato plants so big. AeroGarden grow light.
No affiliation, just happy customers.

More masks for TimberCreek Church.

Fina won second place for her mug design (right) at Hope and Home.
Her prize was a gift card to Dutch Bros Coffee. Thanks for their sponsorship!

AeroGarden has all kinds of plant growing systems, including those
you can start seeds early in the season and transplant outside when ready.

AJ's been running to the mailbox for his new chemistry kit for days.
It came today.

Chicks at Hope and Home

AJ's SITW tomato plants are budding!

It took YEARS to finish this quilt. Tracy started it around
the time Matteo was born (he is now 12) and Lynn used this COVID
time to finish it. It has a soft fuzzy cuddle back and ocean
waves quilting! We will most likely give it to a future foster
kiddo (as in temporary placement, not grandkid)
or Ronald McDonald House.

Day 42

We welcome our newest graduate to the clan! Private Samuel Regusci graduated this morning from basic training and M1A1 tank school as part of Fort Benning's Bulldog Company 19K Class 20-001. We "attended" via Facebook live. Lots of online school work. Some very interesting side projects and activities (see the pics). Lynn and Jamie did an online audition for Voices Beyond the Veil being produced by Village Arts. It'll be done by actors in their own homes filming the scenes (no more than 2 to a scene) and then put all together into a video. Good thing to keep on auditioning (never did hear back from Agamemnon). Pizza and lasagna from Walters.

Singing and Signing

Kinetic sidewalk chalk drawing

AJ did about four of these.

Fina needed to do a little singing

Day 41

Earth Day! David and Jonny drew a picture for the occasion. Lexi got into the banana bread business. Everyone got their school work done for the day. And the littles enjoyed the teacher reading them a story of the wide-mouthed frog online. Fina opened up a hair salon. Dinner from the Club tonight!

Another round of Zelda Monopoly.
Don't ever let AJ get the row of reds and yellows.
