Day 180

Nana and Papa got up pretty early (for a vacation day) in North Platte, NE and headed out on the last leg to home of our week-long trek to Omaha for Jon and Heather's wedding. Had a great time of discovering fun things all along the way, there, and back. We canceled our 3pm Jing reservation (great restaurant in Englewood not far from the Ikea off I-25) as the weather was not looking good at all so straight home we sailed. Got home before lunch to snow in the air. Turns out Nathan got stuck here for a couple more days due to weather; good for us as otherwise we would not have crossed paths this time. We whipped up some carbonara, ceasar salad, and garlic bread for dinner, accompanied by a fine 2014 Regusci cab. Not to mention introducing Nathan to Hendrick's Gin martinis with muddled cucumber.

The round box is a puzzle from Omaha - jelly fish.

It was a couple inches deep and still snowing by bed time.

We zoomed right past Fall into Winter.
Good thing Tracy had the decorations out today.

Remember the Great TP Shortage of 2020?
