Dog Day at the Zoo

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo has two Dog Days every month. And you guessed it, Fido is welcome to come to the zoo! However, you've got to buy him/her a full-on ticket. There were plenty of other dogs there as well as plenty of groups without dogs who, in some cases, were getting a kick out of the dogs, too. The picture I missed was of a mountain lion who spotted Bonnie and stared at her, still as a rock, the entire time Bonnie was in his view.

Of all the animals, Bonnie seemed most
interested in the peacocks.

It was the first day the new entrance, gift shop,
and giraffe approach area was open.
