Day 53

Fina: "Let's get food from the Out. We can eat it in the In, but I want it to come from the Out. I want to go out into the Out to get it. Can we get food from the Out?"

You'll be glad to know she got dinner from the Out which we ate in the In (MOD Pizza).

Tonight's movie: Fun with Dick and Jane.

Lots of help making lunch. All the kids were around the stove at one point.

This is where the "out into the Out" monologue began.

Nana thought this was quilt abuse.

Day 52

Another kinda meandering day. Lots of watering (after we determined there was a sprinkler system leak). The boys got their COVID Cuts today. Some church activities (from home, of course), including Communion this morning. The remaining tomato plants went to a friend's house for final planting. We finally figured out how to watch the evening news - every time someone says "China" you have to sip your drink. Dinner was popcorn after our big Vaqueros take-out lunch. Tonight's movie: Unstoppable. Great train movie, don't sweat the details, enjoy the story and filming.

Simba and Nala (not sure which is which).

Wow, the highlights are strong in this one.

Matt threatened to leave it this way, but it did get finished.

Some more online gaming with California friends.

Prepping for the church high school Zoom get together.

Day 51

Pretty quiet day for the boys. Spent most of the day ambling through making dinner, spaghetti and ceasar salad. On the other hand, Tracy, Lynn, and Tracy spent all day delivering TimberCreek Kids packets from east of Falcon to Rockrimmon to Monument. The puppies got groomed. Tonight's movie: Going in Style. On a personal note, I've been much more outspoken about the country's state of affairs on Facebook than I've been for the last many years. We'll see how many friends I have left.

Tracy sent out a Facebook Live video saying,
"Here we come!"

Fueled by electricity and Cheez-its.

50. Let that sink in. Dinner: rib eye and ceasar salad.

Fina started a bead-by-number project.

TimberCreek Kids bags ready to go tomorrow.

The video was about possums.

Day 49

Definitely running out of things to say. Read the captions. The yard folks have just about finished digging out the dirt for the new driveway parking spot, they found and are fixing a pretty hefty leak in the sprinkler system, and the gates are about in around the new patio. The girls' A/C was successfully turned on today (went over 80 outside). Taco Bell for lunch and week-in-review for dinner. Today's movies: My Best Friend's Wedding and The Ugly Truth.

Look what Tracy got on the way home from CostCo... Nothing Bundt Cakes!

TimberCreek Kids packets are just about done. Delivery is Saturday.

Harry Potter Labyrinth. Matteo was his opponent.

Online school.

More online school with a Nana assist.

Online school.

Online school.

Fina made ice cream sandwiches with these last night.

This was hysterical. Watched David run around the house
getting scavenger hunt items for his online class session.

Matteo playing an online game with a friend in California.

Day 48

More masks. More math. More reading. More eating. More TV. More TimberCreek Kids packets. More games. Lots of Pokemon. A little more exercise. More playing with the foster baby. More playing with Papa's swimming pool hat. Oh wait, that last one is new. Oh, and Jake's Design is back to finish up the yard project(s). Got the A/C ready to run for the girls upper level; it's supposed to be in the 80s next day or so! The Club family meal was salmon tonight, so Lynn and Matt jumped on that, Tracy and Jamie had salads. Today's movies: The Princess Diaries (1 and 2).

Tracy joined in the online Pilates, for a moment.

Day 47

Back to school! We're now into outside watering pretty heavily as it's getting much warmer but not warm enough to turn the sprinklers on yet. Two SITW tomato plants went to a new home, which happened to be just down the street in our same neighborhood. Tracy, Lynn, and Fina continue prepping the TimberCreek Kids packets for May; gotta be delivered before this Sunday. Chick-fil-A for dinner, a kid favorite (adults like it, too). Today's movies: Little Giants, Hercules, Enchanted, and National Treasure.

Slime

Note the hair is colorful, too!

Off to bed.
