Day 7

Snow Day! That takes on a whole new meaning when you're home anyway. Fina baked the cookies last night. Tracy started decorating for Easter. And Matteo made dinner, spaghetti, along with Nana's garlic bread. It was still snowing when we went to bed. As the last activity of the day, we watched Outbreak. Fina had a school project to watch a movie and talk about the 6 story elements put forth out by Aristotle.

Day 6

AJ saw Fina doing some cool coloring last night and decided to give that a shot this morning. Tracy picked up packets of big coloring projects at Target yesterday for $1 each! (It was a necessary trip out for prescriptions.) KKTV-11 did a Facebook Live weather lesson on clouds. As a group, we passed the quiz at the end!

P.S. Breaking news this evening... All Colorado schools are now closed through April 17th.

Exercising with GoNoodle.

Nala wasn't very impressed.

Parking lot not as empty as I expected with no dining in.
Drive-Thru and curbside at full bore, however.

A treat for lunch

Nana's finishing up on the downstairs remodel of our
"guest suite." Office and sewing areas swapped places.

That's not a Christmas tree; it's an alpine decoration.
The mineral and theater collection got a new home.

We're told the dog is assisting.

Then this happened.

Quarantine Day 4

All kinds of homework going on for all the kiddos today. One of AJ's assignments was to bake something. We started macaroons, but that was an epic fail. Never whipped up to stiff peaks. So on to banana bread!

Another "Quarantine" Day

Kids are doing really well. Adults still crave Starbucks, thankfully they have drive-thrus. We all "went" to church online this morning (https://www.facebook.com/TimberCreekChurchCO/videos/2537379379814081/); that was a first. Excellent message, too.

Wingspan!

Quarantined on a Snowy Pi Day

Whadayado? See below... Today's donation was to buy everyone a meal at the Ronald McDonald House at the Stanford Hospital.

AJ has latched onto Lego Masters, bridge building in particular.
He's been at it much of the day. This one held 58 pounds!

Friday the 13th

I'll say. It's been warm and nice for about a week now. This morning? Snow. And as of today, school's are closed through March. Eight of the next eleven school days were going to be off anyway (conferences, Spring Break, etc.) so it's not quite as bad as it sounds. My show (Neil Simon's "God's Favorite") opens tonight. It's still on, but that may not hold. Fina got her Cheap Date Night improv show in last night as the final school activity before the "break." Everything big is closing. The "Big 5" churches downtown have already announced being closed this Sunday. And our theater being in one of those "Big 5" doesn't bode well for Sunday's matinee. Theaters all around are closing, big and small. Heck, Disney is closed worldwide. Thank you, coronavirus. We're in good shape here. Tracy's been prepping the past week or so. We can bunker in for at least a couple weeks.

Our many rays of sunshine include Nana getting some bulbs going on in the kitchen. Lexi is a big fan of these and keeps constant vigil.
