Day 155

Not many pics. I must have been focused on my Genesis class and the Give! database. It seemed like a perfectly fine day. Oh, Fuji Mt for dinner - drunken noodles!

I guess that's a good sign that we're getting out more.

Day 154

Lexi (and Nana) made a School Advent chain. Had to do something to calm her down she's so excited about going back to school. When she gets to the last loop, it's off to school! Miniature golf and a fishing trip for the four boys today. The fishing trip included a military cargo plane buzzing Palmer Lake. Ribs, ceasar salad, and nice wines for dinner tonight as Matt had a colleague stop by that he's known since his first food safety job. And Fina's latest artwork.

That swinging post was a killer.

Have to have snacks at the end, right?!

Fina's commemoration of 2020.

Day 153

Another completed puzzle (thanks to Jamie who found the last piece in the box). Matt and AJ brought home Taco Bell from AJ's baseball practice - always a family hit. The baby has not yet tired of his new contraption (interesting there's t-r-a-p in that word). The pond at Flying Horse Foundation Equine Program is loaded with frogs. It was loaded with tadpoles when last we were down there.

Day 152

Guess who got to go in the pool today! Quilting continues - something about flying geese. Lynn and Jamie enjoyed a little evening bubbly after the online class session. Fina works on her Fall ballet schedule. The boys got to do some online gaming with their California friends. And that same little guy who got to go swimming today also got a new "activity center" which Lexi enjoys as well. Jamie helped run a Zoom meeting for the California Short Line Railroad Association this afternoon.

Legit French...

Jamie did the Garden of Eden session of his course, God is Good.

Day 151

Big day for Matteo... He and a small family contingent visited the Evangelical Christian Academy for a tour, looking at school options for the Fall. Turns out it's much like SLOCA where he and some siblings attended a couple years back in California. Jamie taught there a couple years, too. Matteo was excited enough about going here to put up with a more stringent dress code. Lexi makes her own party when there isn't one otherwise. One quilt is done! Jamie, Lynn, and Fina went up to Wheat Ridge (near Golden) to have dinner with Rachel in the aftermath of Danya's passing. The Rambling Rose turned out to be AOK! Was pretty fun catching up a little. Fina had us stop at a Fat Shack on the way out of Wheat Ridge. OMG. We all agreed the deep fried Oreo one was the best (of the three we tried).

Day 150

Kinda like a sesquicentennial. Wow. Off to TimberCreek Church for the morning. Good thing we got a picture of the puzzle early today. Next time I saw it, it was being torn apart and put back in the box. That was a quickie! Jamie spent most of the afternoon working on his God is Good class.

Day 149

About mid-morning the action began. First, off to Lewis Palmer Middle School for an AJ baseball game. Then to Rosie's Diner for a man's meal, a Handyman that is. The boys were beside themselves. Next, fishing at Monument Lake. AJ and Papa scooted home a little early, but Matteo and Matt stuck it out and it paid off. Fina went to a new babysitting client tonight. She's developing quite a reputation for sitting special-needs kids. More of The 4400 for Lynn and Jamie tonight. What if promycin (sp?) is spelled ProMySin? Ooooooo.

Nana found them a box of Christmas railroad ornaments
