Nana and Papa started off the day by joining Rachel and Heather in Golden, CO to visit the annual
Golden Fine Arts Festival there. We started out at a cool little coffee shop called
Windy Saddle Cafe (excellent cinnamon rolls), then enjoyed the art show, and finished up with lunch at the
Buffalo Rose. Gotta try the sweet potato tots. Though small, the art show really is worth a trip to enjoy; good stuff. As if that wasn't enough for one day, Nana, Papa, Matt, and Matteo went to a concert at the
Boot Barn Hall (just down the hill from us!) in the evening. Members of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic provided the music. It was so nice to hear live classical music again! And as if that wasn't enough, after the concert we went across the street to the new
TopGolf facility. OMG! Even played for a while (at 11pm!).

Members of the Philharmonic play at Boot Barn Hall. That's a bass trombone far right. |
