Pismo and Nipomo

Vickie, Nana, and Papa left Yosemite on September 25th for some time at the beach in Pismo. We did all kinds of hiking around with the Foster grands, enjoyed Trevor hosting us Daou Winery, Old West Cinnamon Rolls, etc. Vicki and Lynn left for home on the 30th while Jamie stayed over to attend some of the activities at the Central Coast Railroad Festival, a county-wide event he chaired this year (and in 2019).

Too Much Light...

Nana and Papa missed another of Fina's productions while in California. This production by the DCC High School Theater Department was titled, "Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind." Obviously a little different. 30 plays in 60 minutes. And they did 30 plays in 60 minutes!

Yosemite

Nana and Papa were in Yosemite for a week with Jamie's sister's side of the family. We were there for a "repeat" of the wedding we had in Garden of the Gods exactly a year ago. Though the Yosemite wedding plans were cancelled last year, the reservations were kept in place; so it was turned into a 1-year anniversary extravaganza.

The dinner after the wedding/anniversary was spectacular.

Jamie and Lynn visited this abandoned
fire outlook tower.

We didn't stay at the Ahwahnee, so it's still on our list.

We stayed here, in Yosemite West.

Door Plates and Quilt Progress

Nana and Papa were practicing a recipe for their Yosemite trip. And we're way deep into Halloween decorating. And, there are new exterior door signs now (people were often confused which of the three front doors were which), see below. And Lynn's labyrinth quilt is coming along...

A Big Saturday!

First, there was a trip to Air City 360 with AJ, David, and Lexi. Then Matt, Matteo, and Jamie attended the Rocky Mountain Pig Jig at the Mining Museum. Maybe a BBQ team next year, eh TimberCreek!? Pig Jigs raise money to fight Nephrotic Syndrome, a severe and aggressive type of chronic kidney disease that equally affects children and adults.

We won a Yeti cooler at the Pig Jig!

Sundance and White Chocolate Grill

Nana and Papa did a little trip to Park Meadows Mall to visit Sundance to find Lynn some stuff for the upcoming trip to California. They did that and then some! As it happened, Tracy was up in the Denver area with one of the foster twins for a doctor's appointment so they met up at White Chocolate Grill for lunch! A few miscellaneous things below, too.
